Obwohl Startum Eisenwolf für sein Volk eine erstaunliche Technologie entdeckt hat, ist sie nahezu wertlos, solange es keine Möglichkeit gibt, seine Feinde daran zu hindern, sie für einen Überfall auf seine Heimat zu nutzen. Es mag einen Weg geben, dieses Problem zu lösen, doch er muss herausfinden, ob seine Lösung tatsächlich funktioniert, bevor es zu spät ist. Gelingt ihm das nicht, müssen die geplante Invasion verschoben und zusätzliche Streitkräfte bereitgestellt werden, um mögliche Angriffe abzuwehren.

Als wäre das nicht schon genug, hat Startum außerdem mit dem Zorn der Zentaurenstämme zu kämpfen, die den Verlust ihres jungen Häuptlings nicht verwunden haben. Mit Fylrehs Hilfe glaubt er einen möglichen Weg gefunden zu haben, ihren Ärger zu besänftigen. Leider muss er sich fragen, ob die Lösung nicht schlimmer ist als das eigentliche Problem.

Als wäre all das noch nicht genug, verläuft Startums Plan, Tyhra die Kontrolle über die Diebesgilde von Delonshire zu übertragen, alles andere als reibungslos. Immer mehr PKer strömen nach Delonshire, und der Hauptmann der Wache befürchtet, dass die Stadt erneut ins Visier der Neufar geraten könnte. Nun muss Tyhra einen Weg finden, mit der rassistischen Lichtelfe fertigzuwerden – oder eine ganze Kette neuer Probleme für sich und ihre Verbündeten auslösen.

A German fan and friend of mine named Butch started doing artwork for the series. We spent some time talking, and he showed me how I could start creating artwork for the series and maybe make a graphic novel, so that really motivated me to spend some time on making this possible.

So far, I've been really excited about the artwork that I've been producing. Most of the work right now is creating each character in the series. And for fans, you know I have a lot of them. That said, I'm getting closer and closer to being able to start on book 1. I decided to post one of the pictures that I made up on Facebook and www.Thecheekyfellow.com so fans could check it out.

Here are the details for the story:

The funny thing about secret missions is that there's no clear-cut way to complete them. That is on DarkZero's mind when he leaves his temporary quarters on the last day of Mani Station. The other sad truth is that he's not going to be able to hold his promise to keep Dispatcher Jennings and his children safe. Not liking that one bit, Zero comes up with a way to make everything good. You know, as long as he doesn't get arrested for destroying a part of the station.

After that last fiasco, DarkZero barely makes it in time for his last training mission. Thankfully, it's a simple milk run to Vanquisher Base. How hard can that be after everything he's faced up until now? It should be an easy feather in his high-octane, successful cap. Also, after a quick talk with his guildmates that morning, he learns that he's basically on what's called a Mercenary Auxiliary track.

As DarkZero's luck would have it, the milk run turns out to be a bit more complicated. Captain Stick shows up unexpectedly to get revenge on our valiant hero, and the Bone Breaker proves he's not yet out of the fight. Sadly, it seems that everyone who hates him is set on chasing him out of the system.

It's going to take a lot of quick talking and good flying to save his ass. If he does it right, he'll earn a nice reward for himself and his guild at the end. If he doesn't, he could possibly lose everything he's earned up until now throughout the entire training mission.​

While Startum Ironwolf has discovered an amazing technology for his people, it is nearly useless without a way to stop his enemies from using it to invade his home. There might be a way to solve the problem, but he needs to figure out if the fix will work before it's too late. If he can't, the planned invasion will need to be put on hold, and additional forces will need to be set aside to repel possible future invasions. 

If that isn't enough of a problem, Startum is also dealing with the Centaur Tribes' anger at having lost their young Chieftain. With Fylreh's help, he might have a way to quell their anger. Unfortunately, he's beginning to question if the fix isn't worse. 

Lastly, Startum's plan to have Tyhra take over the Delonshire Thieves Guild isn't going as planned. Numerous PKers have been moving into Delonshire, and the Captain of the Guard is worried that their town might be coming under attack by newfars, once again. Tyhra has to come up with a way to deal with the racist Light Elf or cause a whole new series of problems for her and her new alliance partners.

Startum Ironwolf und seine Freunde haben die nordische Region bereist, ihre Freunde gerettet und sind zurückgekehrt, um die Hobgoblin-Invasoren zu vertreiben, die ihre Heimat bedrohen. Nicht nur das, sie konnten auch die fliegenden Schlangen vernichten, die aus dem Nichts auftauchten, um die Bruchzahnfeste zu zerstören. Er erfährt, dass dies aufgrund des Fluchs des Doombreath-Clans geschah, mit dem er belegt wurde. 

Leider war das nur der Anfang von Stars Problemen. Neben dem Wiederaufbau seiner zerstörten Festung muss er sein Versprechen gegenüber Königin Isolde einhalten, sonst könnte er seinen Titel als Overlord verlieren. Als wäre es nicht schon Herausforderung genug, einen Weg zu finden, die überwältigenden Horden von Orks abzuwehren, die derzeit das Königreich Kader verwüsten, erhält er auch noch eine E-Mail, in der ihm mitgeteilt wird, dass die Truppe Dark Star Rising von einem weit entfernten Volk als Sklaven verschleppt wurde.

Von da an eskalieren die Probleme weiter. Irgendwie muss Star einen Weg finden, all diese zahlreichen Notfälle gleichzeitig zu bewältigen. Nicht nur das, er muss auch schnell seine Streitkräfte und Reserven wieder aufbauen, bevor sich eine neue Notlage am Horizont abzeichnet.

Auf der Flucht vor der Horde haben Startum und seine Freunde fast die Sicherheit von Darom erreicht, als die Katastrophe zuschlägt. Die Chaossturm-Allianz ist vor ihnen in voller Stärke eingetroffen und versperrt ihnen die Flucht. Und nicht nur das: Die Flüchtlinge und Soldaten, die eigentlich fliehen und bei der Verteidigung von BrokenFang Hold helfen sollten, sitzen im Hafen fest.In Unterzahl und auf freiem Feld, mit den endlosen Orkhorden im Rücken und den skrupellosen PKern vor ihnen, muss Startum einen Weg finden, die Flüchtlinge und Soldaten in Darom zu retten und gleichzeitig seine Freunde und die mit ihm reisenden Soldaten des Hauses Kayden zu schützen. Wenn er hier verliert, weiß Startum, dass seine Leute in BrokenFang Hold niemals in der Lage sein werden, sich gegen die bevorstehende Hobgoblin-Invasion zu wehren.

I wish that the new year brings us more peace and prosperity in the world and to our families. Even if it seems like 2026 is starting out to be a rotten year, I hope we can make our voices heard to make it a good year.
As someone who's studied history and the horrors of war, I know that such a path should only be chosen as a last resort. War destroys everything, but most especially the common people and the downtrodden. There are no winners but the rich and the politicians.
It's a mystery that we find ourselves in these trying times. I feel like there are evil forces at work that want to kill off a large swath of people in the world. Maybe that is due to the advances in AI and the belief that so many people will not be needed by the rich and powerful going forward into the future. It feels like at every turn, politicians are doing their best to divide people, whether the division is on lines of race, culture, sex, or age. The decisions being made are not for the good of society, but to enrich a small cohort of powerful people.
For me, I view us all as Humans. Our cultures give us a flair of flavor and different perspectives, but ultimately, we are humans. As a human, I want to see our species expand into the solar system and then the universe.
When I look at the decisions being made around the world, it seems like the people in power do not want that. Hopefully, I can bring some of this desire for a better future into my writings as my heroes struggle through the adversity in their lives and in the verses that they are playing.
