Frank Dietz managed to get this translated a lot earlier than I expected. I can't wait to hear what everyone thinks of the story. Book 4 is my personal favorite of the series due to its crazy adventures and how The World opens up.

Also, the paperback should be released very soon too. The Ebook always gets released first. Also, the audiobook will hopefully be out by Christmas ;)

Ich habe mich fiesig gefreut als es zu meinem geburtstag rauskam, bin jetzt aber gezwungen auf englisch weiterzulesen, da genau der folgende part im nächsten buch steck 😅
Dennoch muss ich sagen, dass die geschichte einAusmaß annimmt bei dem ich Ihnen meinen größten Respdkt aussprechen will.. Sie bringen so viele interessante Charaktere ein und behalten dennoch den überblick. Ich bin von dieser Reihe begeistert ❤️

Hey Drake,

Thank you for letting me know you're loving the story so much. While the rest of the series is getting better and better with each book, book 4 is my personal favorite. It has so many crazy adventures that I've never read anything else like it before. Hearing that fans are loving my vision for the series and Star's wild adventures just pushes me to write more and better. I'll try to get book 5 out in German as soon as possible, but I'm stuck on the schedule of getting it translated first.

Hey ! Happy New year Mr. Cheek ! I was wondering why you changed the font of your books covers ? The first ones were great and gave a tone directly while the new ones are much more normal if can say it in this way.

It's possible, but I try to keep the fonts the same. I'll try to watch out for that with book 5 =D

Yeah, I was hoping to have it out in January but finding an editor that could fix everything up was a disaster. The first guy couldn't start until February and then at the end of February was like, Oh, I just can't get to this due to being busy. I was like wtf? You waited two months to tell me? I have a new guy named Kai who seems to be doing a kick ass job and I hope I'll be uploading the book shortly. Hmmm or I might wait until April 1st because we do get bonuses if we sell a certain amount in a month.

Ugh, we'll see. I mainly just want to get the book out for everyone. The most important thing is that it's on track.

I am sure it was a downer to hear that after two month. But i am still looking forwards to your new master piece for nearly 6 month. Every single one of them i told myself, that it will come out that month. Now i finally have certainty and thank you for your reply. I hope i dont sound awkward. I am just happy.

For your release date, do what you need to do and what stuffs your pockets most.

It's all good. I'm just glad you're enjoying the series so much. I hope book 6 comes out a lot quicker. Eric is already pretty far along with it. The only warning is that book 6 has a horrible cliff hanger ;) Yeah, the bonuses help so I might wait until the 1st.

Thank you very much, that you have told me/us about the release of book 5, "Der wahre Feind". I am looking forwards to read and listen to it. I hope Jason wont be too "overpowered" in the following books. I really like to hear more about the special quests you gave him for the next story. Really more cliffhanger? How do you expect me to wait for the next book to listen to? Haha

Its nice to hear that the release of book 4 "helping a friend" in german will be at the first of april. I hope this is no bad joke. I mean its the first of april isnt it.

Ha, I didn't even think of that. I have so much going on trying to get book 9 out and the audiobooks, it's crazy around here. After having to shrink book 5's 866 pages down to 814 to get it published (Amazon only allows a maximum of 828 pages for self-publishing - I just found that out the hard way)I now know book 9 has to be split into two separate books. I just have to tweak the story somewhat so they both flow at suddenly being cut in half, but I'll have, now book 10 - book 9's second half, out a month later.

I always believe that it is sad, if a book must be shrank. It somehow feels like people dont get the whole informations they would like to get. But i recognized in another book, that i have read and listened to the audio book afterwards. Some interesting parts have been removed and i felt bad that this detailed description was not given. Anyways it feels strange, 'cause some autors are allowed to release books that take 24 or more hours. I hope, that you are able to crop the book in a good way. Its another reason to read that book on my own, rather than just listen to it. You said, you found it out the hard way. Do you like to tell me more about it?
Its good to hear that you split the books and we dont miss too much. At least i hope so.
You are awesome, but it sounds like you have hell a lot to do and you still have the time to text with people like me, who like your books. The fact just made me smile.

I guess I didn't explain it well. This was discovered when I went to upload the completed book and Amazon reported that I could only have 828 pages in a book. I didn't have to remove any of the story. To correct the issue, I adjusted the width of the pages to fit more words onto each page.

Sounds easy, but it's not. Every adjustment requires correcting the spacing at the end of each chapter. Then, the final results has to be uploaded to Amazon, ran through their internal tests, and then adjusted again once they report that I moved the page to far over to the right or left. I think it took me two or three hours of this to get the correct adjustment for getting below the page limit. Additionally, I had to swap the graphics for the English book 5 cover to German. All in all, I started at 0800 in the morning and finished 1800 in the evening.

So, nothing was removed. I was able to fit everything within the pages. But, books 7 and 8 will probably have to be separated into a part A & B of 500 or so pages each.
