Amazon retracts the block and denies the accusations of plagiarism

I want to thank all of the fans of my work for the positive reviews, Facebook comments and blog comments stating that they didn't see the plagiarism and that the similarities weren't anything other than writing in a specific genre.

I'm sure the hate coming from the LitRPGSociety and Luke Chmilenko won't stop, but by now that's par for the course. Simply reading book one will prove the accusations wrong. It still sucks that they can do something like that without evidence. Just a group of friends complaining against an new Indie Author that they want to shut down. I guess the opposite is true.

Thank you for all of those who addressed the issue directly and spoke the simple truth with eyes unclouded by hate or greed.

I really like your books and hate seeing what some people are attempting to do to them. I'm thinking you should be at the point to have a lawyer check about possible harassment and lost wages charges. Since it sounds like they're doing everything they possible can to get your book banned by making false statements about it.

Maybe the threat of being sued can get them to back off.

Also any chance you could get Amazon to take do those plagiarism reviews? You can show amazon their own emails about the charges being false.

Hey Matthew, thanks for the good word. Now that I've sent the requests out to the copyright and intellectual property right's attorney, I'll just have to see what happens. If they accept our German Attorney Insurance then I can follow this up. The lies from LitRPGPodcasts saying that the use of Goblins Raiders and two similar words used equals to plagiarizing the whole first half of the book is libel. The wave of harassment I've and to endure for writing a good story is ... god I don't even have a word for it. It just sucks.

While Luke had five people that directly attacked me with the accusations of plagiarism, only three came in together. Those I think are easily proven, so I've asked again if they can be removed. The other's I think are harder to prove, even if I know they're all from the LitRPGSociety group.

In one way, it was almost comical. You'd see fans of LitRPG saying the accusations are bullshit and then after 10 positive emails or so you'd get another 'Blatant Plagiarism' or 'Unoriginal' one star slam and then another slew of positive emails saying that's wrong. This gives good feedback to the true Indie Writer community to help fight against the techniques that the larger publishing houses are using against new writers.

That's why I've been asking so many fans of my series to post their reviews on Book One, First Login. Every little bit helps. Btw, here was my response to Amazon:

Thanks for restoring my book. I hope Luke Chmilenko receives some sort of consequences from false accusations and character assassination attempt. My sales and rankings have suffered from his unprofessional behavior. I ask that you remove the three abusive ratings from his friends that began this travesty. It's sad when an author attacks another in this type of underhanded way.

The 9th commandment got deleted at some point? I guess it's up to the readers to do the happy helperitis thing? IMO, there are some pretty clear violations of Amazon's "Community Guidelines".

Plagiarism claims are accusations and are "Respect" violations? Ramon Mejia (?) posting as LitRPGPodcasts violates the "Pomotonal and Commercial Solicitations" guidelines? And check out the ones about dissing a competitor's product and reviewers clubs: https://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=202094170

Here is the listed reporting email address:
"... you may email community-help@amazon.com, specifying the location of the content and the reason you believe it violates these Guidelines."

Wow, I mean just wow. That could stop them from leaving any reviews and have their attacks removed from my book. Also, it could stop the harassment of other indie writers. Thank you for the leg work on this. I'll have to make sure I do a post that shares this information out on the blog.

It should help a lot.

Be careful about not jeopardizing your own status? Not sure how well received notices from authors would be. Don't want to end up griefing people we'd like to help. I truly hope it is useful info.

I am currently reading Book 3 of The World and am looking forward to reading more. Since finding them so engrossing I looked for your website hoping for an eta on upcoming works. I read about the grief some basement trolls are causing. I really hope you can stick it to them, they seem like typical internet petty losers that validate themselves with tearing down others. I’ll be going back and leaving good reviews on Amazon to help drown out the sad little people.

Thanks Kris, i appreciate the support. I'm just a normal guy, I don't do much on the social media side and it seems to be an impossible thing to fight if you don't have the support. The only thing that has saved me from being buried by these trolls have been the readers without an agenda enjoying the series and leaving their honest reviews.

On a positive note, book four is nearly finished and I've had some fan's helping in correcting the mistakes ahead of time so I hope to have it out soon.
